No web2.0 site is complete without the obligatory screencast…. So I’ve created one, just over 4 minutes long, that walks through the main features of trawlr.com. The first screencast, and hopefully more in the future, is available in the screencasts section:

Note: There is NO sound for this screencast, so sit back and enjoy…!

I saw a link to this service and was interested in checking it out, but being presented with a bare login window was off-putting. Consider adding some material that is friendly for new users, such as a guided overview of the site’s features and/or a working demo.
@Eliot
I agree completely with you on this one! That’s why I created this blog and more recently added a screencast that runs through the features of the site. I really need to add some kind of fancy ‘splash’ page which explains a little more about why you might want to sign up.
The working demo idea is a great idea, I think I might just steal that! Thanks for your feedback, it’s appreciated.
I’ve just finished work on a much more favourable ‘home’ page for the site.
It now gives a few quick links to find out more info plus it also shows a list of the popular feeds along with recently read and commented items.
