Another day brings some more changes to your favourite rss aggregator (I hope).
1. Subscribe to a feed very easily via the feed’s page. You can also mark the feed as a favourite (click on the star icon in the orange subscription box) and add any tags to the feed.
2. When viewing an item you can quickly share it or mark as a favourite by clicking on the relevant icons (star for favourite and the transmit icon to share). The number of users who have read this item is also shown.
3. BUG FIX: There was a small problem with the feed tagging, if you’ve already tagged some of your feeds you might have to re-tag them. Really sorry about this issue and hope it hasn’t caused you any major headaches?

Great new features! Things are looking good.
I noticed that a new “unread items” option exists – great addition. I’d like to suggest having an icon next to each item, which when clicked on, marks the item as “read” without actually reading the item. Conversely it could be a toggle read/unread icon.
Also, Ben, how does the “latest items” work. In my test, all items are marked with the little “latest items” arrow, dating months back, even after a couple of days of using the site. And since the feed items are grouped by date, wouldn’t all the “latest items” be at the top anyway. IOW, maybe a “latest items” icon is unnecessary?
The “latest items” link simply views all of your feed items (sorted by published date, newest first). The similar icon shown after each item provides a direct link to the URL (that means you can view an item without marking it as read). Sorry about the confusion there (I should probably change the latest items icon to something different).
The unread/read facility is on my TODO list, should be available soon!
Thanks for the feedback, I hope you enjoy using the site.
